Applying for a Visa

You can apply online for most Australian Visas and Citizenship here.                    

The Department of Home Affairs offices provide services by appointment only. If you need to see them, they will send you a letter or invitation to attend an appointment.

What I can do

For a variety of reasons, the Visa system is currently experiencing strain, leading to frustrating delays. Please check the timeline for your application here. 

If you have not received a response within the period that 90% of applications are finalised, please fill out the form below.

While we cannot intervene in the process, we will endeavour to contact the Department on your behalf and inquire as to the status of the visa application.
