Volunteer Grants Program 2023-2024

The 2023-2024 Volunteer Grants Program is now open. The application process is conducted in two stages:

1. Submit an expression of interest by 25 August using the form below. Your EOI will be assessed by an independent panel of community leaders against the following assessment criteria:
   • The extent to which the project meets the objectives of the program, namely to:
     • Help community organisations to support the efforts of Australia’s volunteers
     • Help community organisations to support the inclusion of vulnerable people through volunteering
     • Encourage, support and increase participation in volunteering
   • Whether the project demonstrates value for money
2. If successful, you will be invited to submit a formal application by 21 September to the Department of Social Services

Please note, this is a very competitive grants program with limited funding available, and not every expression of interest will be successful.
