Upgrading Packer Park Velodrome
The Albanese Labor Government has invested $1.53 million in the Packer Park Velodrome - a training ground for the Olympic games in the 1960s, and today home to the Carnegie Caulfield Cycling Club founded in 1924.
The velodrome caters to professional cyclists, as well as beginners, providing a supportive and welcoming environment. Our funding commitment is helping to build a new much needed changeroom, clubroom and kiosk for patrons of the cycling club.
